Black Organic: Darjeeling Happy Valley 2nd Flush

Black Organic: Darjeeling Happy Valley 2nd Flush

from 4.00

I love the name of this tea!  The Happy Valley Tea Estate is about 2 miles from the city of Darjeeling, at an altitude up to 9,000 feet. This is a pure-grade of 1st and 2nd flush and is a full bodied, highly aromatic cup of tea.  Darjeeling is often called the Champagne of Teas and is grown in the Northeastern part of India in the high altitude foothills of the Himalayas.

Takes milk and sugar very well and equally delicious black.

Brew 205-212 degrees.

1/2 - 1 Tablespoon for every 8-10 oz of pure water.

Tea is Personal:  Once you try the recommended steeping instructions on the package, I invite you to play with the quantity of
tea and the length of the steep time to find your desired brew strength. Use a wide mouth infuser (we sell them) to let your tea
dance!  Varying the water temperature isn't recommended, as water that is too hot will over-extract the bitter components of tea, while water that is too cool might not fully draw out the aromas and flavors of tea.
